Do you want to see you artwork displayed on campus? Are you in the market for a Nikon Coolpix 14MP camera? Or do you simply want to know more about the different methods for safeguarding your computer, mobile devices, or personal information? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, we invite you to participate in the events being hosted by IT@Sam during the month of October for Cyber Security Awareness.
The first event is a poster contest. Any student may submit their poster by midnight October 14, 2011 to HelpDeskMGT@shsu.edu. Please include your contact information! Check out the poster requirements for more detailed information about the contest.
Another event is a forum focusing on cyber security issues. Members of the panel will include Anne Holder-SHSU Copyright Officer, Dr. Matt Nobles-Criminal Justice Assistant Professor, Kristi Vienne-Assistant VP and Director of OneCard Services, Jacki Brossman-Ashorn-Director Student Money Management Center, and Michael Lombard-U.S. Secret Service Agent. The sessions will be held in Olson Auditorium in AB4 on October 4 and 19 from 3pm until 4pm. Please stop by to ask your questions and take part in the discussion. Any questions regarding this contest can be sent to HelpDesk@shsu.edu.
