Office 2013 is coming!

Enhancements and new features will soon be available for the Microsoft Office suite of applications.  The upgrade to Office 2013 is scheduled for August 9th at 9:00p.m. and could potentially continue throughout the weekend.  If faculty or staff are plan to use the Office applications on campus this weekend, we recommend that you utilize either remote.shsu.edu or a laptop until the upgrade has been completed.

The upgrade impacts all SHSU desktop PCs (Macintosh computers will not be affected).  This timeline was selected to accommodate academic deadlines prior to the Fall 2013 semester starting.  Please help us communicate the upgrade to your areas.

Training options for Office 2013
In preparation for this transition, training sessions are available for you beginning July 25th.  Dates and time for these trainings can be located in the Human Resources Talent Management system under Learning > Browse for Training > Computer.
