System Maintenance & Software Upgrades

WebCMS Upgrade
May 23, 6:00 pm – May 24, 6:00 pm
WebCMS will be upgraded to the latest release of the software. Administrative access will be unavailable during the upgrade and testing.  The full website and WebCMS should be restored on or before Sunday, May 25.  Services such as Blackboard, E-Mail, and My Sam, personal websites, etc. should not be affected.  However, during the outage period, service may be degraded for pages hosted on dotCMS that have not been cached.

Telephone Maintenance
May 23, 8:00 pm – May 23, 11:59 pm
Updates are being performed to SHSU phones.  During this time, all phones will be restarted to apply firmware upgrades.  Each phone will be down approximately 5 minutes while the firmware is being applied.

MySam – Finance
June 6, 5:00 pm – June 6, 7:00 pm
The Banner Finance modules for both INB and Self-Service will undergo maintenance and will be unavailable to conduct data processing.  This will affect the ability to access both the INB and Self-Service Finance modules.  Please remember to sign off all Banner Finance sessions before this time.

June 6, 9:00 pm – June 6, 9:30 pm
A new version of Flash Player will be deployed to all Windows 7 managed computers.
