MySam – Finance
July 2, 5:00pm – July 2, 7:00pm
On Wednesday, July 2, 2014, Banner Finance (INB Finance and Self Service Finance) will shut down at 5:00 PM to conduct data processing. We estimate the system will be unavailable for 2 hours. Normal operations will resume upon completion of these processes. Please remember to sign off and shut down all your Banner Finance Sessions before 5:00 PM on July 2, 2014.
Internet Explorer
July 3, 6:00pm – July 3, 10:00pm
On Thursday 7/3/2014 at 6:00 PM, The Internet Explorer browser will be upgraded from version 9 to version 11 . The browser will be upgraded on all managed Windows computers and the remote.shsu.edu system since web-sites and client plug-ins and extensions are dropping support for Internet Explorer version 9.

 

Touchnet
July 11, 2:00am – July 11, 6:00am
TouchNet will be performing routine maintenance on the servers in the TouchNet DataCenter from 2:00 am to 6:00 am CT Friday, July 11th, 2014. Scheduled maintenance is to be completed no later than 6:00 a.m. CT that morning. During this maintenance window TouchNet will be unavailable.

 

Maplesoft Maple License Update
July 11, 6:00pm – July 11, 8:00pm
Maplesoft Maple license will be upgraded. Users may experience a brief outage during this time.

 

Telephone System Update
July 11, 9:00pm – July 12, 3:00am
IT@Sam will be upgrading the Telephone System. This will affect all telephones across campus, including but not limited to fire alarms and elevator phones. The expected outage for most phones will be about 10-30 minutes.

Service Desk – Modified Support Hours
July 12, 8:00am – July 12, 5:00pm
The Service Desk will be closed on Saturday, July 12.  If you have an emergency during this time, please email the Service Desk at servicedesk@shsu.edu.
