Happy Friday! We have a few system maintenance updates happening tonight and Monday. Make note of them in case you’ll be using these systems at any point.
On Friday, October 23, beginning at 6 pm and concluding at 6:30 pm, the remote.shsu.edu system will undergo maintenance. At its conclusion, this maintenance could impact your ability to connect to the system if you are using an older version of Microsoft Remote Desktop.
If you are using a Windows based computer, download or run Windows Updates to ensure that you are using the latest available version of Microsoft Remote Desktop to avoid potential connectivity issues.
If you are using a Macintosh, you can download the latest version of Microsoft Remote Desktop from the App Store.
Banner HR/Payroll System Maintenance
On Friday, October 23 from 6pm – 8:pm, the Banner HR/Payroll system will undergo maintenance that will result in a service outage. Service should be restored by 8:00pm.
Banner Financial Aid System Maintenance
On Friday, October 23 from 6pm – 8:30pm, the Banner Financial Aid system will undergo maintenance that will result in a service outage. Service should be restored by 8:30pm.
TK20 Service Outage
On Monday, October 26, from 8 – 8:15am maintenance will be performed on the TK20 system that result in a brief service outage.
